Frances Jean Pennington

Frances "Jean" Pennington, 83, passed away Thursday, January 21st, peacefully at home. She was born August 28th, 1937 in southern Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Ruth Keirns. Jean is survived by three sons, Richard Karns of Athens county, Ohio, Charles Keast (Heidi Gress) of Franklin county, Ohio, and Christopher (Ashley) Byrd of Fairfield county, Ohio; two brothers, Kenny Keirns and Bud Keirns; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored her. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jenny Reid; brother, Junior Keirns; and her parents. Jean was a very loving mother and grandmother. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. Family will be having a closed memorial service Friday, January 29th. Flowers may be sent to Leaf Cremation of Columbus Ohio.
