Janet Burkhardt

Janet Burkhardt, age 78, of Lancaster, died Monday March 28, 2022, at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. Born July 13, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Roy and Betty (Bailey) Lyon. Janet is survived by her husband of 60 years, Tom Burkhardt of Lancaster; children, Kevin ( Paulette ) Burkhardt of Curtis, NE, Chris Burkhardt of Columbus, Tammie Burkhardt Carroll of Lancaster, and Mike (Lorie) Burkhardt of Rushville; grand children Christopher M Burkhardt ( Megan ), Shawn Burkhardt ( Amber ), Alex Carroll, Jessica Carroll, Ryan Di Pietro, Ryan Burkhardt ( Erica ), John Burkhardt ( Liz ), Kylie Bashore ( Jarrod ), and Bailie Burkhardt-Staccia ( Greg ); ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions can be made to Pets for Patriots, 218 E Park Ave. Ste 543, Long Beach, NY 11561. No formal memorial service is planned, but family will be appreciative of personal condolences.
