Robert Henry Stuber, known to many as Rob, passed away suddenly at Hardin Memorial Hospital on October 27, 2023. Born on April 15, 1959, in Kenton, Ohio, he lived a life full of passion, creativity, and optimism.
Rob was a graduate of Hardin Northern in 1977. His commitment to service was evident in his decision to enlist in the Army following his high school graduation. After his military service, he pursued further education, earning an Associates degree as a mechanic.
Rob's professional life was a testament to his dedication and expertise. He brought an unrivaled passion to his work, reflecting his love for vehicles and mechanics. His fascination with the intricate workings of automobiles was not only a career but also a hobby. Rob was a lifelong learner, always eager to understand new concepts, whether it was about antiques, firearms or anything that caught his interest.
Family was at the center of Rob's world. He leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Tammy Stuber; his sons, John (Ashley) Stuber, Justin (Valerie Kohlwey) Stuber, and Jesse Stuber; and his grandchildren, Claire, Olivia, Jaxon, and Lennox. He also leaves behind his siblings, Gary, Linda, Mike, and Joe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Wanda Stuber, and his sister, Jean Stuber. His family will remember him as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who cherished every moment spent with them.
Rob's interests extended beyond his professional pursuits. He had a passion for collecting, often finding joy and value in the most unexpected places. His collections reflected his diverse interests and his deep appreciation for history and craftsmanship. Rob will be dearly missed by all who knew hium. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family , friends, and many lives he touched throughout his lifetime.
No funeral service will be held in accordance with his wishes.
