Beverly Jean Hamilton, age 78, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2026. She was born on October 16, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, to Harold and Doris (Denmead) Rarick, who preceded her in death.
Bev loved "The Ohio State Buckeyes" and enjoyed going to the Hollywood and El Dorado casinos. She donated to many charities, including St. Jude, Habitat for Humanity, and Wounded Warrior Project for Veterans, to name a few. She was the sweetest lady you've ever met. She never raised her voice unless there was an OSU Buckeyes game playing.
She leaves behind two sisters, Edith Maynard and Mary (June) Welman; four sons, Roy (Theresa), John (Tammi), James (Trina), and Robert Hamilton; two stepsons, David and Ronald Blake; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Blake; stepdaughter, Laura Blake; brother, Patrick Rarick; and brother-in-law, Bobby Maynard.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life potluck at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park on July 26, 2026, at the Shagbark Shelter from 11:00 am to 2:30 p.m.
