Bonnie Jean Neibler

February 17, 1938 — August 17, 2025

Bonnie Jean Neibler, 87, of Columbus, Ohio, went to heaven on August 17, 2025.

Bonnie was born on February 17, 1938, in Paintsville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Estle and Gretle Bowen. She grew up surrounded by the love of a large family, one of eleven siblings, and carried that same deep sense of family throughout her life.

Though she has left this earth, Bonnie’s love lives on in the family she so dearly cherished, the traditions she passed down, and the countless lives she touched. She will be forever missed, but we take comfort knowing she is at peace and reunited with those who went before her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Estle and Gretle Bowen; her brothers, Bob, John Harvey (Nina), Estle (Kathy), Al (Monica), Rob (Diane), and Mike (Rosie); and her sisters, Ella Underwood (Bill), and Mary Puckett (Ralph).

Bonnie was the true heart of our family — a loving, caring, and strong woman whose presence brought warmth and comfort to everyone around her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: spending time with family, road tripping, working on her word puzzles, tending her garden, sipping coffee, and, of course, cooking meals that will forever be remembered as the best anyone has ever tasted. Her kitchen was the heart of so many treasured memories, always filled with love, laughter, and the comforting smells of home.

Her faith in God was unwavering, and her strength and resilience were deeply rooted in that faith. She faced life’s challenges with courage and grace, always leaning on her belief and sharing that quiet strength with those she loved.

Bonnie is survived by her devoted husband, John Neibler; her son, Paul Wyant (Meki); her two younger sisters, Joan Dunn (Larry) and Sylvia Gregory (Greg); her grandchildren, Michele and Andrea; and her eight great-grandchildren: Keira, Haley, Kirstin, Pj, Elle, Kylie, Eli, and Isaac. She is also survived by her faithful fur baby, Cocoa, who brought her endless joy. She is also leaving behind many extended family members, including cousins, and nieces and nephews, and friends she loved and treated as close family.

Bonnie’s love, strength, and faith will continue to guide us, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts.

“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
