Carol Ann Kinser

Carol Ann Kinser, 72, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026. She was born on May 9, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio.

Carol was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She shared many wonderful years with her beloved husband, James William Kinser, creating countless memories through their love of traveling, camping, and exploring together. Carol found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, especially the beauty of butterflies, a challenging crossword puzzle, and spending time with those she loved most.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James William Kinser; her mother, Margaret Ann Ware; and her father, Robert Dale Ware.

She is lovingly survived by her children, James Kinser II; Terra Elkins and her husband, Leo Sheppard; Elizabeth Kinser and her husband, Curtis Hubbard; and Joshua Kinser. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy Roth and her husband, Ronald Ross, and Cinda Loony; and her brother, Robert “Bobby” Ware.

Carol leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Brook Elkins, Michael Lewis, Isaac Buskirk, Carmen Hubbard, Hope Hubbard, Dominic Buza, Makayla Kinser, and Ashley Kinser. Great-grandchild, Aurora Massey, whose presence brought her great joy.

Carol will be remembered for her gentle heart, unwavering love for her family, and the kindness she shared with everyone around her. Her strength, warmth, and caring spirit touched the lives of many and will continue to live on through the memories of those who loved her.

In accordance with her wishes, Carol was cremated, and her care was entrusted to Leaf Cremation. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
