Cheryl Ann Cullum (Mobley), age 60, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, with her daughter Charlotte, her partner Jaret, and her granddaughter Elizabeth by her side.
Cheryl was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband John Cullum, her daughter Charlotte (Jaret) Daniels, her son Garrick (Charlotte Jeanne) Daniels, her grandchildren Scott, Andrew, Lucas, Levi, and Elizabeth, her sisters Terri Fisher, Melissa Lentz, Amy (Lee) Claprood, and special recognition to Cheryl's dearest and faithful friend Mary (Jethro) Ball, who was like a sister to her. She also leaves behind extended family and many friends who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Patsy Hoy and Charles Mobley, her step-father Frank Hoy, and her son Paige.
Cheryl will be remembered for her warm heart, her resilience, and her lifelong love of animals. She had a special passion for sighthounds and was well known in the dog show community, where she showed her beloved hounds and ran her own small business creating handmade beds and collars. Cheryl was rarely without a pack of dogs at her side, and those who knew her will remember her for the care and joy she gave them.
She often spoke of being reunited with her parents, her son, and her many beloved pets at the rainbow bridge — and now she has found that peace.
