It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Christina Lee Scott, who left this world on October 14, 2024, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Christina was a beacon of warmth and kindness, cherished by all who knew her. She was born on August 23, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, bringing joy and love into the lives of her parents, Julie and Roy Scott.
Christina’s life was filled with vibrant experiences and heartfelt connections. She was a dedicated worker for Heidelberg Distributing and Tommy’s Pizza and later in life embracing the evolving world of transportation by working for Uber and Lyft. Her professional life was a testament to her adaptability and commitment to providing for her family.
Cooking was not just a hobby for Christina; it was a way of showing love. She was delighted in preparing homemade meals and trying new recipes, constantly infusing her dishes with the warmth of her heart. Her family cherished these meals as a testament to her love and culinary skill.
An animal lover at heart, Christina shared a special bond with her dogs, Piper, Sasha and Leo. Wherever life took her, they all loyally followed, a furry companion who brought her immense joy and comfort. Sasha and Leo welcomed Christina home and are playing daily in heaven.
Christina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis Allen, who was the love of her life, as well as her brother, Andrew Scott, and sister-in-law, Drema Scott. Her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family members: her daughter, Megan Scott; son, Matthew Scott, and daughter-in-law, Leanne; her sister, Rebecca Jones, and brother-in-law, Tony; brother, David Scott, and partner, Darlene; and her brother, Ed Scott.
In this time of loss, our family extends a special thanks to all the ICU staff at Riverside Methodist Hospital for the compassionate care they provided to Christina during her final days. Their dedication and kindness brought comfort during this difficult time. We also wish to express our gratitude to Arielle at Leaf Cremation for their support and assistance.
Christina’s life was filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family. Her legacy is one of generosity, hospitality, and an unwavering spirit that will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. As we mourn her passing, we find solace in the memories of her love and the impact she had on our lives.
May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
Celebration of life remembering and honoring Christina will be announced at a later date. Family will reach out when arrangements have been made.
