Christopher George Murray

Christopher George Murray, 48, of Mansfield, OH went to be with the lord on October 8th, 2020 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. He obtained his GED along with a certificate in welding. He was a very talented artist who could paint and in his spare time you could find him making jewelry boxes. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, a lover of Nascar and dirt track racing, and loved a good time fishing. He never lost his faith, and being around his family was always a priority. Chris is survived by his parents, Paul and Diane Tschantz of Mansfield; one son, Daniel (Amber) Murray; two adorable grandchildren, Xavier and Jordyn of Orville; four siblings, Michelle Prince (Tim Arnold), Patrice Tschantz, both of Mansfield, Paul (Cindy) Tschantz of Fredericktown, and Christina (Cassini) Glenn of Ft. Myers, FL; many nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, as well as, aunts and uncles. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Murray; grandfather, James Murray; both grandmothers, Genevieve Comer and Evelyn Murray; and a niece, Shayna Prince. The family would like to thank Ohio and Home Health, Avita Hospice, and Charlie Davis and staff at Avita Specialty Center in Galion.
