Christy Lee (Crabtree) Evans

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christy Lee (Crabtree) Evans, who left this world on July 18, 2025. Born on August 26, 1953, to the late Donald and Lela Crabtree, Christy was a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her.

Christy was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Karen Crabtree, and her brother, Richard Crabtree. She is survived by her devoted children, Donald (Shawna) Crabtree and Shawnda (John) Chesser, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Christy was a proud grandmother to Michaela (Stone) Barral, Devon (Jincey) Arnold, Chrissy, and Hannah, and a cherished great-grandmother to Charlie, Rylnn, and Wrenlee. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

A woman of deep compassion and unwavering strength, Christy had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and loved. Her laughter was infectious, and her spirit was a source of comfort to many. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often gathering her family for celebrations filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Christy’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her not only for her nurturing spirit but also for her unwavering support and encouragement. She taught us the importance of family, the value of kindness, and the beauty of togetherness.

A celebration of Christy’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories, honor her memory, and reflect on the profound impact she had on all of our lives.
