Coral Mikayla Snell

Apr 24, 2002 — Sep 9, 2026

Coral Mikayla Snell, 24, left this realm on 9/8/2026 while at their residence after battling major health issues for many years. They were so talented and passionate at so many things with theater, baking, and animals possibly being the top three. Coral's ability to connect to others on a soul level has already left an enormous amount of beings both 2 and 4 legged at a total loss.

In February 2024, Coral directed Neil Simmon’s Rumors in The National Theatre at The Ritz Theatre with The Ritz's Players. This will be the same location for Coral's Celebration Of Life on Saturday October 24, 2026 from 1 to 5 pm. In lieu of flowers 💐 a tax deductible donation can be made to The Ritz Theatre in memory of Coral Snell. The total amount of these donations will be added together to determine tthe donation level Coral's name will be in all of next year's programs. The Ritz Theatre is located at 30 S Washington St, Tiffin, OH 44883, and phone (419) 448-8544. The National Theatre entrance is located on the river side of the building.

On Coral's last weekend, their body was too weak to go horse camping as previously scheduled. As Coral read their poem they just wrote to their Mother on the phone tears were shed by all.

“Some mornings I wake and my body feels worn,

like a field left empty out to a storm.

My bones carry burdens I cannot explain,

and every small movement is tangled with pain.

But out in the pasture, beneath silver skies,

a horse lifts her head and looks into my eyes.

She doesn’t ask why I am moving so slow,

she simply stands waiting, as soft breezes blow.

I press my tired hand to the warmth of her mane,

and somehow her stillness makes room for all the pain.

She doesn’t need answers, she doesn’t need proof,

she only gives comfort beneath her old golden roof.

Some days I can ride, and some days I can’t,

some days I have strength, some days I have scant.

But she never judges the things I can’t do,

she waits through the darkness and carries me through.

Four hooves on the earth, four beats in my chest,

she teaches my hurting heart how to find rest.

The road may be long, and the rivers may rise,

but hope can still live underneath weary skies.

And maybe I’m not meant to conquer each day,

or force every weakness and sickness away.

Maybe I’m meant to move gently, not fast,

to treasure the moments that somehow still last.

So when I am hurting and losing my way,

I’ll find where the horses are waiting each day.

For even when illness has stolen my stride,

there’s still a wild heart that can walk by my side.”
