Danny W. Threadgill, born on March 16, 1943, in Harlan, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024, in Hilliard, Ohio. He was a devoted husband to Brenda and a loving father to Christina Howard (Jeff), Danny Threadgill (Jackie), and Mary Bellamy (Vincent). Danny leaves behind a legacy of family, including his cherished grandchildren Jeffrey Howard (Lisa), Eva Aurora Pawinski (Ethan), Cassondra Wallace (Blake), Daniel Threadgill, Sylvia Threadgill, Paul Zachary Bellamy, Brenden Bellamy, and Dylan Bellamy, as well as his beloved great-grandchildren Chloe Howard, Andrew Howard, Aubree Wallace, Finnley Wallace, and Addie Wallace.

A journeyman electrician with the IBEW, Danny took great pride in his work, particularly on nuclear power units. His professional journey allowed him to travel across the United States, where he collected countless stories that will forever echo around campfires and family gatherings. An Eagle Scout, he dedicated much of his time to the Boy Scouts of America, coaching peewee football and instilling confidence in young athletes.

Danny was known for his incredible sense of humor, always ready with a joke or story. He cherished the outdoors, finding joy in bird watching, camping, and watching his great-grandkids play. He often said his favorite place was wherever his family was, but he also loved the serenity of high mountains, watching the smoke rise over the trees in the early mornings.

He was active in his community through the Jaycees and his church, always eager to lend a helping hand. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Eva Threadgill, and six siblings, C.W. Threadgill, Carey Owen Threadgill, James Reuben Threadgill, John Threadgill, Bobby Sue Mann, and Mary Grey.

Danny lived by many cherished sayings, including, “We will sink or swim but we will do it as a family, all for one and one for all,” and “Oh, what a tangled web we weave.” He was proud of his family, often sharing tales of their accomplishments with great delight.

His presence will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who loved him. As he once reflected, “I can not think of autumn's flare without me here...alive...aware.”
