Darlene Mae Danflous

Mar 2, 1962 — Sep 7, 2026

Darlene Mae Danflous, 64, of Johnstown, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on September 7, 2026.

Born on March 2, 1962 in Newark, Ohio, Darlene lived a beautiful life enjoying the simple things, the fresh air of early mornings and a good cup of coffee. She loved her Friday evenings spending them with her grandchildren Abigail, Annalynn and Jace. She loved The Lord and listening to the message of Rock City Church every Sunday morning. She was known to have the most caring heart, she was a helper and her kindness never went without notice.

She was a dedicated hard worker who spent many years working for Northridge Local Schools and then the Alexandria Public Library. Her favorite job was found by accident, working for Sean and Patty Blake at Downtown Gaming in Utica, Ohio where she met so many wonderful people that she loved and called her extended family.

Darlene is survived by her loving family including husband, William Danflous, daughters, Julia Roese, Nicole (Kevin) Parks, 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as many dear relatives and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene M. Miller and father, Robert Miller.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to celebrate the amazing life that we have lost.

Darlene will be forever in our hearts and never forgotten.
