Deborah Morris Debbie, age 74 went to be with her Lord, April 16, 2026 at home with her family surrounding her with love.
She preceded in death by her beloved mother, Evelyn Woody and her brother Wayne, Morris and grandparents, Curtis and Dorothy Morris and five uncles and five aunts.
Debbie was born in Moorefield, West Virginia, October 6, 1951. She lived in Columbus, Ohio for 60 years and worked at Mt Carmel Hospital, serving faithfully for 30 years.
Anyone who knew Debbie will remember her signature question how you? No matter how many times she saw you in a day that simple phrase, reflect her loving and compassionate spirit. Debbie was truly the life of the party. Her beautiful dimple smile and her bright eyes and her laughter was contagious and had a special way of bringing joy to those around her. Debbie loved fishing and hiking with her brother Wayne Morris. Debbie had no kids so she over spilled love with her baby brother Eric Woody (Marte) taking him rollerskating fishing and to Boy Scouts. Even in the face of illness, Debbie remained strong and full of spirit, her grace and unwavering faith for inspiration to everyone who knew her Debbie loved the Lord and she found great comfort and fellowship at her church. Even when she was unable to attend a person, she remained connected by faithfully watching church streaming services.
Debbie left to cherish her memories her father, Henry Woody (Pops.) and baby Brother Eric Woody (Marta). A loving cousin caretaker and friend Julie Broomfield. Who has let Debbie know she was never alone and she never left her side. Thank you, Julie. A host of us, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends. Though Debbie's earthly journey has come to an end the love and kindness she poured into our lives and other will continue to live on. Well done my faithful servant.
A memorial service will be held at Leaf Cremation, 1970 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, OH 43207 on Friday April 24 at 2:00 PM.
