Delana Elizabeth Watson

Delana Elizabeth (Keaton) Watson went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 3, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Lloyd and Louella (Ferguson) Keaton.

Delana was a devoted member of Chapel Hill Freewill Baptist Church, where her faith and kindness touched many lives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ricky Keaton; and her beloved husbands, Eddie Bowling and Richard Watson.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Edward (Kathee) Bowling of Grove City; her treasured grandchildren, Madison, Cassidy, Payton, Abby, and KJ; her brother, Ronnie (Beaulah) Keaton; her sisters, Faye (Lovell) Akers and Wilma (Randy) Rudolf; and her lifelong best friend, Debbie Ledbetter. Delana also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her deeply.

A celebration of Delana’s life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at noon at Chapel Hill Freewill Baptist Church of Grove City, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the joy she brought to all who knew her. We will have a luncheon after the celebration, please bring your favorite dish or desert.
