Donald R. Farrell

Donald R. Farrell, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 90. Born in Columbus on August 23, 1934, Donald spent his entire life in the city he loved, working as an engineer for many years at Varo Engineers.

Beloved by his family and everyone who knew him, Donald will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his devotion to his work, and his love of music — he played a variety of stringed instruments and loved to sing.

He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Mary Lou. Together, they raised four children who brought him great pride and joy: Cheryl (and Rodger Webb), Jeffrey, Jo (and Michael Stanley), and Charles. Donald was also the proud grandfather of six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

He will be dearly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched. In accordance with his wishes, no service will be held.
