Douglas Lee House, age 69, passed away peacefully at home on October 29, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Douglas leaves behind his beloved wife, Lisa, who was by his side in life and love. He is survived by his sons, Steve House and his wife, Lisa, and Greg House and his wife, Crisha; his stepchildren, Jacob Biggum, Dakota Wood, and Jordan Brown; and his cherished grandchildren, Carly, Grant, Lauren, Brooklyn, Benny, and Rosalie, who brought so much joy and love to his life.

He is also survived by his mother, Connie House; his sisters, Tracy House and Jodi Davis (husband Gary); and his brother, Kendall House (wife Vickie). He was preceded in death by his father, Howard House.

Douglas had a kind heart and a giving soul, and he made a difference in so many lives throughout his time here. He had a way of touching the hearts of those around him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, compassion, and willingness to give of himself will never be forgotten. The love he shared and the lives he touched are a lasting part of his legacy, one that will continue to live on through the many people who were blessed to have him in their lives.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements have been made.Douglas will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of his life and legacy.
