Eric Pride

Eric Rolidean Pride, 60, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 3, 1965, in Zanesville, Ohio, to Linda Pride and the late Charles Pride Sr.
Eric attended West Muskingum High School and, during his senior year, attended vocational school, where he studied welding. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, cooking, hunting, and fishing. He also had a special appreciation for collecting knives and unique antiques. These hobbies were a part of who he was and brought him happiness throughout his life.Eric was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were in his life, and the love he gave to his family and friends will never be forgotten.He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Pride Sr.; his grandmother, Francis Walsh; and his grandfather, Ellis R. Walsh.He is survived by his daughters, Erica McCarl (Rebecca), Taylor Tysinger, and Alyssa Dalton; his siblings, Tina Luby, Chad Pride, and Julie Pride; several nieces and nephews, including Misti Houston, Chelsie Pride, Asia Gebhart, Macey Gebhart, and Mason Luby; and his special friend, Bobby Hindman. He also leaves behind many cherished memories that will continue to bring comfort to those who loved him.While his absence leaves a great sadness, his memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved him.Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Eric's life on November 3, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at The Refuge Church, located at 1604 Pine Street in Zanesville, Ohio.Food will be served following the service.All who knew and loved Eric are welcome to join his family in honoring his life, sharing memories, and celebrating the time they were blessed to have with him.
