Garry Eugene Reed

Garry "Fudd" Eugene Reed, 86, of Chillicothe, Ohio, the son of the late William A. Sr. (Rosetta Pierce) Reed went to rest May 6th 2025. "Fudd" faced his final days with strength and grace, leaving behind a legacy of love for family and friends. He never met a stranger and greeted everyone with a smile; his calm and mild demeanor left a lasting impression on all.

Fudd is preceded in death by 2 infant sons and an infant daughter, brothers: Warren (still surviving Mary Lou) Reed, Loren (still surviving Teresa) Reed, Vincent (Ida Mae) Reed, William A. Jr. (Dorothy) Reed, James (Evelyn) Reed. As well as sisters: Amelia Reed, Norma Garner, Dora Delores (William) Hickey, Mildred (George) Founds and several nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sheila Marlene Reed, daughter Susan Michele Reed, grandsons: Joshua Eugene Andreen, Christopher (Lyric) Brown, and great-grandchildren: Landon, Asher, Isabella, Lilianna and many nieces and nephews.

Garry had served in the Navy alongside his brother Warren and retired from Dupont.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, vacationing with his wife and family. Fudd loved spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids and most recently dining with his wife and special sister-in-law Mary Lou Reed.
