Gary Blackburn

Gary Blackburn, 69 of Thurmon, Ohio passed away on April 14, 2026. He was born on December 28, 1956 to Buster Blackburn and Peggy (Belcher) Blackburn in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was a loving father to one daughter Amy Blackburn of Thurman, Ohio. Gary had two grandsons Zachariah and Jedidiah Lawson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Buster and Peggy Blackburn. One brother (his twin) Larry Blackburn of Minford, Ohio and one sister Connie Bishop of Sidney, Ohio. Gary was survived by ex-wife Roxann Blackburn-Cutler of Columbus, Ohio. Gary is also survived by one brother Perry (Rosie) Blackburn of Minford, Ohio and two sisters Margaret (Doug) Gillem of Pemberton, Ohio and Annette Smith of Minford, Ohio. Gary also had several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are under Leaf Cremation of Columbus, Ohio. Celebration of life and graveside service will be held later at the family's convenience. The family will announce the date and time once arrangements are made.
