James Edward Green

James E. Green, born on July 3, 1934, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, at the age of 91. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was a testament to his dedication and love for his family and faith.

James began his journey of spreading the word of God at the young age of 15, becoming a passionate preacher whose work touched the lives of many. His unwavering faith and commitment were an inspiration to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his late wife Dorthey Green, daughter Alene, and granddaughter Amanda. James is survived by his loving wife Vi Green, whose companionship was a source of strength and joy in his later years.

James leaves behind his cherished children, Sharon and James Jr., and treasured grandchildren Melissa, Terissa, and Jason. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Victoria (Steven), Abigail, Ben, Autumn, Noah, Jason Jr., Faith, Elizabeth, Tyler, Brady, Alex, Kiera, Kaleb, and Paul. He was also blessed with great-great-grandchildren Ivy, Sophia, Axel, Isabella, Tessie, Mollie, and Kristan.

A man of deep faith and conviction, James will be remembered fondly for his kindness, wisdom, and the love he shared with those around him. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In accordance with his wishes, James will be cremated. The family invites all who knew him to remember him in their hearts and carry forward his message of love and faith.
