In Loving Memory of James Michael "Mic" Blevins
James Michael Blevins, lovingly known as "Mic," age 74, of Ohio, passed away on November 2, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him dearly and memories that will last a lifetime.
Mic was a funny, strong-willed, and stubborn man who always did things his own way. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, firearms, cooking, watching cartoons and movies, learning about history, and reading. Some of his favorite moments were the simple ones spent watching cartoons and movies, sharing meals, and spending time with friends and family. He loved sharing laughs and making memories with the people closest to him.
More than anything, Mic loved his family. He was the kind of father who was always there when you needed him. He was someone his son could turn to, whether it was to vent, talk about life, ask for advice, or simply have someone listen. He would help in any way he could, and his love often showed through the things he did for those around him.
Mic leaves behind more than memories. He leaves behind the lessons, conversations, laughter, and love that will continue to live on through his family.
He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Barbara Tom; his son, James (Brandi) Blevins; and his daughter, Chrissi (Nestor) Madlansacay (Blevins). He also leaves behind six grandchildren: Jade Blevins, James Blevins, Jaxson Blevins, Cheyenne Madlansacay, Zachary Madlansacay, and Christian Madlansacay, who will carry his memory in their hearts.
Mic will be remembered for his humor, his stubborn spirit, his love of the outdoors, his cooking, his curiosity about the world, and, most importantly, the love he had for his family.
Dad, Thank you for always being there, for listening when I needed someone to talk to, for helping me through life, and for all the memories we made together. I'll miss our conversations, our movies, and all the little things that I never knew I'd wish I could have one more time. I love you, Dad. Rest easy. I'll never forget what you have taught me.
