Jason E Lawson

Jason E. Lawson, 55, Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 14, 2026.

He was born Aug. 5, 1970. Following graduation from Mount Vernon High School, he served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He worked for the Y.M.C.A, City of Mount Vernon, Ohio Rental, and most recently, International Paper.

He is survived by two sons, Mark (Reanna) Lawson of Mount Vernon and William (Allison) Lawson of Columbus; two sisters, Jana (Greg) Starkey of Mount Vernon, and Wanda Board of Mansfield; two brothers, Ron Lawson of Mount Vernon and Greg (Jody) Lawson of Howard; nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony Lawson and Dorothy (Matthews) Park; and a brother, Tim Lawson.
