Jerry Franklin Sanders

A graveside service for Jerry Franklin Sanders will be held on July 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Coatesville Cemetery in Coatesville, Indiana.

Born on August 17, 1946, in Washington Courthouse, Ohio, Jerry was the son of DeVee Rice and Ethel Marie Sanders. He passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 78 at Cedar Hill Care Center in Zanesville, Ohio.

Jerry served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War alongside his late brother Larry, and later in the National Guard. He worked with steel, carved stone, and drove commercial trucks throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara, and his brothers Larry and Greg.

Jerry is survived by his brothers James and John Charles, his wife Gaby and her children Alex and Christy. He is also survived by Barbara's children: Tammy, Michael, and Kelley, as well as 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
