John Daniel Morris, 71 of Roseville, Ohio, left this world and went to be with the Lord and his loving wife on April 6, 2024.
Born at home on December 2, 1952 to the late Don and Erma (Link) Morris in Wagram, Ohio. His sweet spirit along with a little orneriness brought John lots of adventures as a kid. His best and most talked about adventure was coonhunting from the age of nine through his adult life. As a teenager he added cars and racing to his list of hobbies.
John’s skills and willingness to learn gave him the opportunity to work in different environments from farms to pottery to heavy equipment to construction.
John met the love of his life while working at Nelson McCoy Pottery and they were married in November of 1972. Together they built a home of love and laughter with their three children.
Along with his parents and two brothers, David and Ronnie, John is preceded in death of his wife of nearly 50 years, Diana.
Left to honor his memory and miss his hugs and stories are his children; Tina(Ryan) Kimpel, Nathan(Lisa) Morris, and Dustin(Kate) Morris. His grandchildren; Madison(Heath), Kendall, Jenna(Blake), Camden and Adelaide. His great-grandchild Beau and another due to arrive this fall. His siblings; Frank( Terrie) Morris, Linda(Jay) Johnson, Cathy(Tim) Degarmo and Jim(Amanda) Morris. Several nieces and nephews. His church family and friends at Lake Street Church of Christ. His special new pup, Lurch.
No services will be held at this time. Per John’s wishes, a dignified cremation will be performed.
John always said “Don’t cry for my when I’m gone although you probably will. I’ll be in heaven with Diana and the Lord. I’ll be fine. Live your life and remember the good”
