John James Mulherin

John James Mulherin passed away peacefully with his family on July 21. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norine E. (Doyle) and John N. Mulherin. John leaves behind his loving wife, Alice (Gillespie/DeWeese) Mulherin; his five children: Carra (Mulherin) Frea, John Nick Mulherin, Joe (Angie) DeWeese, Beth (Phil) Phalin, and Marie Mulherin; eight grandchildren: James Frea, Meghan Frea, Matthew Frea, Amber (Kyle) Roaden, Ashley (Elijah) Moore, Aimee (Gavin) Hoover, Koral Phalin, and Hudson Phalin; three great-grandchildren; and six siblings: Dan (Bev) Mulherin, Kathryn Westbrook, Susan (AJ) Drumm, Nancy Weilbacher, Rick (Jodie) Mulherin, Carol (John) Smith and several nieces, nephews and many friends.

John was retired from his information technology career with the State of Ohio Job and Family Services. He was a longtime member of the Hide-A-Way Hills Resort Community, where he enjoyed summer family times growing up and later raising his children as a permanent resident. John enjoyed nature, boating, and driving through the community on his side-by-side, many times with his furry partner, Snowflake, stopping to help a friend or just say hello.
