John Lawrence Vickery

John Vickery, age 67, of Centerville, Ohio passed away on 22 July 2026. He was born on 20 January 1959 in Fairfield, Alabama and was the son of Robert and Sara Vickery.

John graduated in 2003 from Mississippi State University with a PhD in Electrical Engineering. Prior to that he received a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Alabama and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from MSU. He loved water skiing and has skiied the Tennessee-Tombigbee river in Mississippi near Columbus as well as along the gulf coast near Gautier. He was an avid gamer and played games online Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights with his friends from college. He was always building PC computers for friends and family, while also enjoying working on cars his entire life. John will be greatly missed in our daily lives.
