Joseph Arthur Dotolo

Joseph Arthur Dotolo, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 72.

Born on June 1, 1954, Joe grew up in Revere, Massachusetts and was the son of the late Carmine and Phyllis (Santa Anna) Dotolo. Joe was a devoted father to Caroline Dotolo and her husband, Justin Watts, and Lauren Davidson and her husband, Nicholas Davidson. He was a loving brother to Cheryl Draper and her husband Earl, Steven Dotolo and his wife Denise, Richard Dotolo and his wife Joanna, and the late Carmine Dotolo; a cherished partner to Terry Moore; and a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Above all, Joe adored his four grandchildren, Cameron (7), Perry (6), Parker (5) and Sophie (4), who were the light of his life. Nothing brought him greater happiness than being their grandfather, celebrating their accomplishments and simply spending time together.

Joe will be remembered for his generous heart, his love of family and the way he expressed his affection through food, laughter and time spent with those he loved.

In accordance with Joe's wishes, there will be no funeral service. We invite family and friends to join us in remembering and celebrating his life on July 11, 2026 from noon-3pm at New Albany Links Golf Club, 7100 New Albany Links Drive, New Albany, OH. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Easterseals, one of the organizations special to Joe.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and forever present in the hearts of his family and friends. And his memory will forever be carried by the waves at 40 Steps in Nahant, which held a very special place in his heart.
