Kathy Case

t is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathy Jean Case, 76, of Plattsburg, Ohio, who died peacefully on October 27, 2026.

Born in Springfield, Ohio, Kathy worked at the London Correctional Institution for many years before retiring in the early 2000s.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Geneva (Thompson) Hodge, her brother, Richard Hodge, and her sister, Linda Hodge.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Case Jr. and Mark (Anna) Case; her grandchildren, Sarah Case, Zackary Case, and Charles McDermott; and 4 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later time by her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Clark County.
