Kelly Lynn Shaffer

Kelly Lynn Shaffer, 63, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away on November 26, 2025. She was born on December 26, 1961, in Nelsonville, Ohio.

Kelly dedicated 41 years of service to The Grote Company in Gahanna, Ohio, where she formed lasting friendships and took great pride in her work.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Dwayne Shaffer; her children, Justin (Christine) Polt and Kristen Shaffer; her grandchildren, Roman Polt and Kennedy Polt; her stepmother, Linda Boling; her stepsister, Stacey Slatton; her aunts, Becky Webb and Joanne Webb; and her uncle, Bill Webb.

Kelly is also survived by her cousins, Missy, Nickie, and Abby; her father-in-law, Donald Shaffer; and her brothers- and sisters-in-law: Jeff (Cindy) Shaffer, Darren (Cindy) Shaffer, Tim (Beverly) Shaffer, Kim (Matt) Sorg, Tom (Cindy) Shaffer, and Tonya (Robert) Ortman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert (Bob) Boling and Joy Ginn (Webb), as well as her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Shaffer.

Kelly will be remembered for her kindness, her dedication to family, and the love she shared with everyone who knew her. She always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger.
