He grew up in the Putnam area, or as he called it, Putman. He coached youth basketball in the 80s and 90s and won state championships at the hand of his guidance. He drove bus for head start for 10 years, and absolutely loved the kids on his routes. He loved the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Ohio State Buckeyes. He drove commercial trucks for many years and worked for Coshocton Trucking and Nuway. He ran a secondhand furniture store and was a collector of anything he saw value in. He loved to spend time with family and watch his favorite tv shows, including Gunsmoke and Mash.

He was very grateful to his neighbors who helped out in the past few years. He absolutely loved to be there for all of his kids and grandkids. He took pride in helping all of us with anything that came up. He loved all his animals and had a heart for taking care of any who were down and out. He will be deeply missed by all of us who loved him.

No funeral service will be held at this time and a dignified cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be decided later.
