Larry Denver Meade

Larry Denver Meade, born on February 1, 1961 to Dewey and Wanda Meade in Marietta, Ohio. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on May 29, 2025, in Newark, Ohio, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Wanda Meade, and his grandson, Rocky Tyler Howell.

He will be missed by his brothers and sisters including Cheryl Huntsman of Cambridge, Ohio, Tammy (Marty) Tolbert of Cambridge, Ohio, Tina (JD Jones) Schultz of Lore City, Ohio, Rick (Kelly) Meade of Barnsville, Ohio, Brian (Mindy) Meade of Woodsfield, Ohio, Amy (Anthony) Clark of Byesville, Ohio, Virginia Meade (Shane Burton) of Cambridge, Ohio, and Donny (Lisa) Jeffers of Woodsfield, Ohio.

Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Debbie Ann Meade, and their daughters, Jennifer Scott (Greg Glass) of Hopewell, Ohio, Mindy (Greg) Brown of Ogden, Utah, and Kelly (Roy Jr) Howell of Port Charlotte, Florida. He cherished his grandchildren, Jessica (Joe) Biggs, Jarrad Scott, Austin Church (Jocelyn Thompson), Cody (Sydney) Church, Kaylee Howell, Carsen Brown, and Darien Brown, as well as five great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his close friends Dave and Amy Berger of Newark, Ohio.

An avid outdoorsman, Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, and exploring new places while sharing his passion for history with family and friends.

A celebration of Larry's life will be planned at a later date, where family and friends will come together to honor his memory and share stories of the incredible man he was.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to reflect on your own adventures and the loved ones in your life, carrying forward Larry's spirit of exploration and appreciation for family.

Larry Denver Meade will forever be remembered for his loving heart, adventurous spirit, and the countless lives he touched. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he shared throughout his life.
