Linda Ann Eick

Jun 4, 1952 — Aug 3, 2026

Linda Ann Eick, 74, of Wooster, Ohio was relieved from her Earthly struggle with Alzheimer’s on August 3, 2026.

She was born June 4, 1952, to Donald E. and Arlene (Vogel) Lott, and spent her youth on her family’s dairy farm near Sussex, N.J. From an early age, her love of animals and natural skill with horses was apparent. She cherished memories of her childhood home, family, and friends until her final days.

She attended the State University of New York, where she met her husband of 54 years, Bryan P. Eick, of Wooster. Together, they started their own farm West of Wooster. There, they were proud to raise their children, Hampshire hogs, horses, and sheep.

When their farming days concluded, Linda supported her husband’s construction business and worked at Wayne County Clerk of Courts for 15 years. She also worked for Kidron Auction and County Line Produce Auction.

In her community, she served the Northeast Ohio Pork Producer’s Council, volunteered as 4-H leader, and enjoyed giving horse riding lessons to local youth. She was a member of the Western Reserve Carriage Association.

A force for positivity in the face of any storm, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and selfless caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, three brothers; Donald Lott, Beufort, S.C., Gerald Lott, Sussex, N.J. and John Lott, Wantage, N.J., as well as her children, Amanda (Scott) Schwarzwalder, BJ (Marlene) Eick , Aileen (Bryan) Cosby, and two granddaughters, Sophie and Kaylee, all of Wooster.

A celebration of life will be held this Fall. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda’s name may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association  ( act.Alzheimer's Association ) or Southern Care Hospice.
