Marcine Van Curen

Marcine (Marcy) Van Curen, age 82 of Lancaster Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 31st 2025. She was born January 19th 1943, to the late Dorothy (Disbennett) Lama. Marcy attended First Church of God for many years. 

She is survived by her Daughter Brenda (Clarence) Paugh, Grandchildren Alisha ( Josh ) Van Dyke, Jeremy (Christina) Tucker and Dakota Tucker, Great-Grandchildren Elaena, Jeremiah, Adam, Sarah, Layla, Brylee and Kinsley. Sister Carolyn Messbarger, Brothers Merrill Lama and Harold (Rosemary) Lama. Sister-in-law Rosemarie Miller and many nieces and nephews. Marcy was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Van Curen, son Gary Tucker, her mother Dorothy Lama, Brothers William Lama, Kenneth Lama and Gary Lama.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, at First Church of God. Located at 732 East 6th Avenue Lancaster, Ohio. Calling hours will be from 11am to 12pm with the Memorial service starting at 12pm.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Fairhope Hospice who provided such wonderful care during Marcy's time there.
