Marjorie Ann Potts, aged 90, passed away on May 27, 2026. Marge will be laid to rest at the Grove City Cemetery, West, Grove City, Ohio. She will be interred in a columbarium and, to honor her request, no service will be held.

Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Kenneth, her parents, Eugene and Mildred Berkshire, and her sister Linda Johnson. She is survived by her children, Jodelle (Mark) Runyon, Elisa Haid, Timothy (Mary) Potts; and grandchildren, Nathan (Rola) Haid, Robert Haid, Kevin Haid, and her great grandson, Masao Haid.

Marge was born June 12, 1935, in Newcomerstown, Ohio. She grew up and attended school in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. After graduation, she traveled alone by bus to Columbus, OH to begin her adult life. Marge found an apartment and roommate, enrolled in a local college, and began working for Beneficial Financial Services. Soon thereafter she met Kenneth Potts on a blind date and they were married on September 16, 1959. They setup housekeeping in Columbus and began raising a family, later moving to Grove City. Marge was a devoted mother and wife, raising three children and supporting Kenneth who served in the active-duty Air Force and the Ohio Air National Guard for 33 years. They were stationed at many locations including Paris, France, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Las Vegas, Nevada. She also managed the house and family when Kenneth was deployed to Korea and Viet Nam. Marge was later employed by Sears and Discover card services.

Marge enjoyed family, friends, collecting, antiquing, traveling, bowling, sewing, reading, music, jigsaw puzzles, hugs, her backyard birds and squirrels, and yoga. She also volunteered at a local food pantry for many years. Marge had a good sense of humor and quick wit. She was adventurous, caring, active, spiritual, patriotic, and donated to many local charities. Marge was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan and took pride in her one share of stock in the team. Among her favorite sayings were; “How beautiful it is to do nothing...and then rest afterwards”, and “Life is too short to drink cheap beer”. Marge was an awesome human being and will be forever in our hearts!
