Mary Louise Sanders 68 of Columbus, Ohio went on to be with God on October 31, 2022. Mary was born July 3 1954 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Peter Karter Jordan and Helen Louise McCoy. Mary is preceded in death by Daughters Laytonia Jones and Gladys Terry Sister’s Lilian Brown, Patricia (William) Johnson, Kathy McCoy, Uncle Luther McCoy, Aunt Bell Smith, Aunt Beulah, Grandma Ethel McCoy.
Mary enjoyed spending time with her Children and grandchildren and great grandchildren whenever possible. She always had time for all the aunts, uncles cousins, brothers and sisters. Mary could often be found helping any person in need with any task needing to be completed. She would pull up and say hop in the car and let’s get this done. This meaning taking anyone to get groceries or pay bills. She would often bring people a plate of food to eat or a bag of groceries or fruit from the farmers market. If she thought she could help someone she would do it with out thinking of how it would affect her own health. She often stood in line at the food pantry if she know someone else needed food at 4 foot 11 no bag or box was too big to carry she would find a way to get things done. If you were sick she would visit you in the hospital. I’m not sure she even knew there was a danger from covid, cause she never let it slow her down. While millions were locked in at home she was helping anyone who couldn’t go out. That’s just who she was. Mary battled both pancreatic cancer and dementia in her final days. Sorry to say it was a tough road for her. She gave it her best😊. Mary will be greatly missed, she was the true many of great things in small packages!
