Matthew David Stangle, known affectionately to friends and family as Matt and others known him as Vizion Brave. He was a vibrant soul whose laughter and creativity brought light into the lives of all who knew him. Born on November 2, 1986, in Columbus, Ohio, he embarked on his final journey to be with the Lord on September 5, 2025, in Frankfort, Ohio, after a valiant battle with liver disease.
Matt’s life was one of joy, humor, and love. He was a man of faith, embracing Christian values that guided him through his life’s journey. His kind heart, quick wit, and boundless creativity were the hallmarks of his personality. Though he left us too soon, his memory will continue to inspire laughter and kindness.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Stangle, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms. Matt leaves behind his devoted mother, Terri Stangle, and his siblings, Aaron, Tyler (and wife Brittany), Trinity, and Derrick Johnson Jr. His legacy will be carried on by his cherished children, Ayden and Emma Stangle, who were the light of his life, as well as by his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Matt’s special friends, James Mullen and Corie Conley, along with several other very close friends, will miss his ever-present humor and companionship.
Despite not pursuing higher education in a traditional sense, Matt was a testament to the value of life experience and hard work. He earned his GED and furthered his education at OUC in Chillicothe. He became a respected Warehouse Manager in the recycling industry. His certifications in OSHA and forklift operation were a source of pride and symbols of his commitment to his profession.
Matt’s interests painted the picture of a man who loved the simple pleasures in life. He found solace in nature, the exhilaration of skateboarding, the warmth of campfires, and the irreplaceable joy of family time. His passion for writing and recording music was a testament to his creative spirit, and the songs he left behind will continue to resonate with those who hear them.
As we say goodbye to Matt, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life filled with laughter, love, and kindness. His story is not one of an ending but a continuation in the hearts and memories of those who loved him. His laughter echoes in the stories we share, his kindness lives on in our actions, and his creative spirit inspires us to find beauty in the world around us. Rest in peace, Matt. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
