Maureen Beth Newton

Maureen “Maudi” Newton, age 77, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026. She was born on July 9, 1948. Maureen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Vernice Newton; her sons, Rob Kaplinsky and Joe Kaplinsky; her siblings, Stanley Bindas and Margie; her cherished grandchildren, Haley Arthur, Brandi Warne, Brittani Kaplinsky, Robert Kaplinsky, Brooke Smith, Chelsea Custer, and Bethany Kaplinsky; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Jaydalin Kaplinsky, Leilani Smith, Kameiah Smith, Caeson Custer, Xavier Custer, Ryden Custer, Hadley Smith, Darryn Weissert, and Kayden Weissert. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mickie. Maureen was loved by all who knew her. Her warm smile and kind spirit will never be forgotten, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. A memorial service will be planned for a later date and time.
