Maureen Riley

Maureen "Mo" Riley, age 72, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, at The Springs at Wyandot Trail.

Mo was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, and an unforgettable presence in the lives of everyone who knew her. She was truly one of a kind-full of love, life, and fire. With a fierce spirit and a sharp wit, she held our family together with a strength that was both grounding and inspiring. You always knew where Mo stood, and you always felt her love-whether it came through a warm hug or her famously honest, no-nonsense advice. We will deeply miss her hugs, her stories, her laughter, and the sound of her voice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Timothy and Mary Lou Scannell; her brother, Mark Scannell; and her sister, Kathy Scannell. She is survived by her sisters, Linda Power and Terri McDonald.

Mo leaves behind her three children: Jason Riley and his wife, Mindy; Jenna Bellamy and her husband, Tom; and Maegan Dippolito and her husband, Dave. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Chase Riley, Blaine Riley, Taylor Bellamy, Jordan Bellamy, Gage Dippolito, and Gavin Dippolito.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
