Meena Gladys May Badhwar

October 28, 2025 - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.

Born in Deal, Kent, England, Meena brought a lifelong spirit of creativity and independence to everything she did. After art school in London she enjoyed a career as a dress designer, where her elegance, flair and originality made their mark. Brave and adventurous from a young age, she travelled to India and then to America, weaving new experiences into her life story.

Known for her sharp wit, candid honesty, and remarkable ability to remember the small but meaningful details about those she loved, Meena was as generous with her laughter as she was with her time. Her greatest joy came as grandmother-making dresses and Halloween costumes, sharing stories and delighting in her granddaughters.

She is lovingly survived by her two sons, Sonish Badhwar, Manish Badhwar (wife Anna), and two granddaughters, Maya and Misha Badhwar as well as her ex-husband, Ravi Badhwar. Though Meena's journey has ended, the threads of design, travel, familial warmth, courage and candour she wove will continue to live on in all who knew her.
