Melinda Pinson

Melinda Pinson of Newark, Ohio, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, born July 12, 1953, passed away on February 5, 2026. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories shared with those who knew and loved her and will be deeply missed.

Her love for her family was evident, and the bonds she built with them remain her lasting legacy.She is survived by her children: Pamala Mckenzie (Doug Mckenzie) and Michael Carsey (Lisa Carsey); her grandsons, Shawn Carsey, Anthony Carsey, Dillion Carsey, Cody Carsey, and Joshua Shady; and her loving brother, Kevin Marlowe (Ketiba). She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, stepchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many cousins, and extended family members, all of whom will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ricky Pinson; her parents, Ivan Marlowe and Joan Marlowe; and her very loving aunt, Donna Bowman.

She will be remembered for her strength, her life journey, and the many moments she shared with family and friends. Those who knew her will carry her memory forward with love.

Private out-of-state burial services will be held by the family, with a memorial service planned for the summer.
