Melvin Michael Hogle

Melvin Michael Hogle, age 28, passed away unexpectedly at his residence Friday, December 5, 2025. Melvin was a lifelong resident in the Westerville community and was a 2015 graduate of Westerville North High School. Melvin held multiple criminal justice degrees from both Owens Community College and Central State University.

In his youth, Melvin loved participating in various sports with a passion for baseball and skateboarding. As an adult, Melvin was an avid bowler and had recently taken up the game of golf.

Melvin was currently employed with Data Center Solutions Inc. where he loved and embraced the family atmosphere and was afforded the opportunity to travel to various locations throughout the US. Melvin was predeceased by his Grandmother, Virginia Hogle, and is survived by his loving Mother, Debra Hogle, Father, Thomas Hogle, Sister, Taylor Guardiola (Matthew), Sister and best friend, Larissa Hogle, Nephews, Hadrian and Orion Guardiola, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, special friend, Abbey Green, and too many friends to mention.

Melvin's outgoing personality and sense of humor, along with his infectious smile would light up a room with his presence alone. Within minutes of meeting Melvin, you felt like you were talking to a life long friend.

A memorial and celebration of life service will be held after the first of the year. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to suicide prevention and/or mental health organizations, Alcoholics Anonymous, the Mount Vernon Baptist Temple of Howard, Ohio, or a charity of your choice in Melvin's honor.
