Nancy Jane Calrk

Nancy Jane Clark, 79, of Lancaster, OH passed away at Pickering House, Lancaster, OH on March 20, 2026.  She was born on November 15, 1946 in Lancater, OH and was the daughter of the late Raymond "Bill" and Mildred Taylor.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Doyle K. Clark, brother-in-laws Howard Clark, Richard Severance, Bennie Davis and sister-in-law Rosa Clark.

Nancy was a 1964 Graduate of Liberty Union - Thurston High School where she enjoyed playing clarinet in the band. In her younger years she enjoyed league bowling. In her later years she enjoyed attending grandson Lane's activities.  Much of Nancy's life involved cooking for others, from Starlight Lanes Bowling Alley grill, to The Lunchbox Express, Dairy Queen of Pickerington, church functions and fundraisers, Sweet Corn Festival fish booth, VFW and family gatherings.  Nancy was a longtime member of Thurston United Methodist Church in Thurston, OH and attended Shepherd of the Valley UB Church while she lived in Logan, OH.

She is survived by her son Ralph Edward "Eddie" (Fonda) of Logan, OH, grandson Lane (Brooke) Welker of Bremen, OH, stepsons Todd (Lisa) Welker of Newark, OH and Mike (Sue) Clark of Rockbridge, OH, stepdaughter Tammy (Freddie) Etzler of Talking Rock, GA and sister-in-laws Vilora Severance and Donna Mae Davis both of Columbus, OH.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 11 at Thurston Methodist Church, 2015 E Main St, Thurston, OH with a dinner to follow.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Nancy's memory to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130 or Thurston Methodist Church, PO Box 64, Thurston, OH 43157.
