Nancy Marlene Griffin

Nancy Marlene Griffin was born on Jan. 13, 1937, and passed away on Sept. 21, 2026. She was born to Jonah Price and Hazel Hook in Buchel, Ohio, and passed away comfortably and at peace at home, surrounded by family, in Lancaster, Ohio.

Nancy Marlene was such a wonderful woman who loved most people. She was a light and encouraged everyone to dream big, remember that family is all you have, and to love with your whole heart.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Cunningham; her grandchildren, Brandy Whaley, Tia (Bryan) Swinford, Brian (Casey) Shoemaker, and Chris Shoemaker; and her great-grandchildren, Austin Griffin, Jackson Withrow, Cole (Richia) Griffin, Dakota Humphrey, Jonathan Swinford, Skylar Hatfield, Domonique Keslar, Sonya Casto, Lowell Humphrey Jr., Suzanne Shoemaker, Brittanna Shoemaker, and Dreama Shoemaker.

She is also survived by her great-great-grandchildren, Reagin, Tommy, Ryan, PJ, and Delilah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; son, Steven; grandson, Lowell; sisters, Virgie and Patty; brother, Robert; and many more.

At her request, there will be no funeral service. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and son.
