Nora May Brown

Nora May Brown, 75, passed away peacefully from cancer on June 16, 2025, in Logan, Ohio. Born on January 14, 1950, in Greenfield, Ohio, Nora was the beloved daughter of the late Eldon and Starr Humphreys.

Known for her sweet nature, hilarious personality, and boundless kindness, Nora brought joy and laughter everywhere she went. She was a proud graduate of Shawnee State University, graduating with honors in 1994—a testament to her determined spirit and dedication to achievement. She was also a proud graduate of McClain High School Class of '68.

In her leisure time, Nora enjoyed watching classic movies and crime shows. She treasured moments spent immersed in stories and relished sharing those moments with those close to her. She cherished keeping in touch with friends and family. Her generous spirit will not be forgotten.

Nora is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jaime Rae Brown; her sisters, Eldonna Ashley and Sarah Goss; Ex-Husband, Mark Brown; Friend, Ricky Jolly, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry and Randy Humphreys.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. As we lovingly recall Nora's life, we carry with us these cherished words: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
