Paul David Workman, 75, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on September 1, 2023. Born on August 17, 1948, in Logan, West Virginia, Paul was a retired Lieutenant Commander of the US Navy.
Paul was a fun-loving and friendly individual, known to be a friend to all. He had a passion for watching sporting events and actively participated in basketball and golf. His love for these sports brought him joy and created lasting memories.
In addition to his military service, Paul was the foundation of his family and deeply cherished the relationships he curated with kindness and unmatched generosity to all that he loved. He is survived by his children, David (Flower), Devin (Jonathan), and Dustin, as well as his grandsons, Jacob, Camden, and Bryson. Paul also leaves behind his beloved siblings, Phyllis, Gene (Linda), and Gloria. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debi, his brother, Sonny, and his mother, Elizabeth.
Paul Workman's dedication and commitment to the US Navy as a retired Lieutenant Commander will forever be remembered. He served his country with honor and pride, and his contributions to the military will not be forgotten.
Paul will be deeply missed by his numerous close cousins, family members, and friends. His warm personality and zest for life left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held in his honor on Saturday September 9th, 2023 at 11 am.
