Paul Thomas Strosser

July 2, 1970 — April 29, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul Thomas Strosser, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left this world on April 29, 2025, at the age of 54, after a valiant battle with cancer. Paul was born on July 2, 1970, in Valhalla, New York, to Wayne Strosser and Brenda Morris.

Paul's life was a testament to unwavering dedication and love for his family and community. He married the love of his life, Carla (Paeth) Strosser, on October 20, 2006, and together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter and cherished memories. He was a proud father to his daughter, Cheryl Paeth, and a doting grandfather to his beloved granddaughter, Savannah Wilkes.

In addition to his immediate family, Paul is survived by his brothers, Sean (Katrina) Strosser, Adam (Lanette) Strosser, and Mike (Elissa) Reams, as well as numerous nephews and nieces: Derek, Leland, Corbin, Taylor, Riley, and Cybil. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Caroline Piper. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, George Daughty, whose absence will be felt deeply by those who loved him.

Paul honorably served in the United States Navy from April 12, 1988, to January 1, 1997. He traveled aboard the USS San Diego and served in Desert Storm. His military service instilled in him a profound sense of duty and resilience, traits that he carried into all aspects of his life.

An avid sports fan, Paul was a die-hard supporter of the New York Yankees and Jets. Paul loved everything New York. His passion for sports extended to his love for disc golf, a pastime he enjoyed with friends and family. He was also a dedicated sports card collector and had a deep appreciation for all genres of music, often sharing his favorite songs and artists with those around him.

In his final days, Paul received exceptional care and support, for which his family is profoundly grateful. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Kobe and the staff at Chalmers P. Wylie VA Hospital, as well as Hospice of Ohio and the Freedom Caregivers. Their kindness and compassion made a significant difference in Paul’s journey and provided comfort to his family during this challenging time.

Paul's spirit, fierce determination, and love for life will be dearly missed but never forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering support that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to cancer research initiatives or veterans' support organizations.

Rest in peace, Paul. You will always be in our hearts.
