Ray Francis Byers, age 67, passed away on October 15, 2022. He was born in Columbus, OH on June 10, 1955. Preceded in death by his parents Gilbert Byers Sr. and Elwanda Byers; brothers, William Cook, Charles Cook, Rex Byers, and John Byers; sister, Sharon (Tom) Lucas. Ray is survived by his loving children, Mike (Angie) Byers, Michelle Martin, and Matt (Talenia) Byers; Grandchildren, Amanda, James (Annie), Anissa, Robert, Sean, and Haley (Matt); Great-Grandchildren, Raelynn, Caden, Atreus, Jayse, and Amirah; Brothers, Gilbert (Phyllis) Byers Jr., Phillip (Terry) Byers, Robert Cook; Sisters, Ruth (Ray) Thompson, Joan (Harold) Stewart, and Dianna (Roger) Kelley. Ray is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday October 23, 2022, from 12pm-4pm, at the Eagles Club located at 3800 Westerville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43224.
