Richard Jeffers

Richard Jeffers, 75, of Pomeroy gained his angel wings September 1, 2020 at his home. Richard retired from AEP Southern Ohio Coal Company where he worked as a machinist. He was an avid antique collector and restored many furniture pieces throughout the years. He traveled the East Coast to Antique Shows for many years with his wife, Nancy. He loved his family more than life itself. He was a wonderful loving husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Nancy Hatfield Jeffers on March 6, 2020. He is survived by his daughter Valerie Jeffers Stroud, his son Richard Sean Jeffers, grandsons Thomas (April) Leamond and Richard "AJ" Jeffers. His great grandchildren, Fin, Emma, Riley, Kyler, Ava and Jayce. He will be missed tremendously by his family. There will be no funeral services. Leaf Cremation of Columbus, Ohio will be performing his cremation and then he will return to his home in an urn beside his wife.
