Ruth M. Cox, age 52, of West Milton, OH passed away at Hospice of Miami County in Troy, OH August 15 at approximately 9 pm. Ruth was born in Troy, Ohio on June 7th 1973 to Linda Robison but was raised by her loving grandparents the late John and Evelyn Robison.
Ruth was a graduate of the class of 1991 at Milton Union HS where she was active in the choir, Young Spirits. She attended both Wright State University and Urbana University. Ruth was a lover of music festivals, concerts, podcasts and books. She was very excited to be able to attend the latest Taylor Swift concert in Indianapolis. She was a huge pet lover, having many over the years. Moose, Mobey and Murphy miss her terribly. Ruth was also known as a amazing gift giver and especially love Christmas showering her friends and family with very thoughtful presents.
Ruth was a dedicated employee spending 16 1/2 years at One Call Now a Crisis24 company. Ruth rose through ranks starting as a customer service representative to become the Director of Client Services. Ruth also distinguished herself as Co-Owner of Gemini Wireless.
Ruth Cox was the loving wife of Eric Cox who would have been married 32 years in September. She was also a terrific mother her son, Logan Cox, daughter Elaine "Lainie" Cox- Archer and daughter in law Shay Archer. Ruth also leaves behind her father and mother-in-laws: Jack and Patricia Gallagher, sister-in-laws: Nicole "Nikki" Cox and Hillary Gallagher, brother-in-law, Greg Gallagher as well as 6 nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ruth's life will be held at Eagles Campground Event Center, 2252 Troy Urbana Road, Troy, OH 45373, Saturday, August 30th beginning at 5 pm. Some of Ruth's favorite entrees will be provided as well as beer, wine, pop, water and tea. If you would like to bring a side dish or dessert it would be appreciated but not mandatory.
Ruth will be greatly missed by her family, friends and co-workers. Her zest for life was unmatched as well as her smile and laugh
